This is an unfinished baltic birch yak cutout — a solid silhouette with that distinctive humped back, curved horns, and shaggy fur fringe along the belly. It works as a craft base for animal-themed projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for rustic cabin or lodge decor, farm and ranch signs, and nature-themed wall art. We've also seen them turn into gift toppers for the wilderness enthusiast in your life, tiered tray accents with a mountain or ranch theme, and novelty ornaments. The jagged fur edge along the bottom is part of the character — it comes through at most sizes. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
