Description

This is an unfinished baltic birch whale tail cutout — a clean, solid silhouette of the fluked tail breaking the surface. It works as a standalone craft shape or as part of a larger coastal or ocean-themed project. Folks use these for beach house wall art, coastal wreath accents, and nautical sign-making. We've also seen them turn into mermaid-tail accents for nursery decor, party favor tags for ocean-themed baby showers, and tiered tray pieces for coastal kitchen displays. The shape reads clearly at small sizes and scales up well for larger wall pieces or door hangers. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch — ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
