Swallowtail Butterfly ($0.59 – $25.63)

This is an unfinished swallowtail butterfly cutout — that distinctive wing shape with the paired tails that makes it immediately recognizable. It works as a craft base across a wide range of projects and scales. Folks use these for spring and summer wreath accents, door hangers, and wall art. We've also seen them turn into nursery decor, Easter basket tags, garden-themed tiered tray accents, and painted pieces for craft fair booths. The scalloped lower wings and tail extensions give it a lot of character at almost any size — it reads clearly even at a couple of inches, and fills a wall nicely when you go larger. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio.
