This is an unfinished baltic birch swallowtail butterfly cutout — a solid silhouette with the characteristic large upper wings, rounded lower lobes, and those distinctive tail projections. It works as a craft base for a wide range of projects. Folks use these for spring wreath accents, nursery wall arrangements, and garden-themed door hangers. We've also seen them turn into painted wall art, tiered tray decor, Easter basket tags, and garland pieces strung together for a nature-themed display. They're popular with resellers who paint or finish them for craft fair tables in spring and summer. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop and ready for paint, stain, epoxy, or just leaving it natural.
