This is an unfinished baltic birch cutout of Sugar Island — the island community in the St. Marys River near Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It works as a wall piece, a gift, or a geographic accent for anyone connected to the U.P. or the Great Lakes region. Folks use these for wall art in cabins, lake houses, and UP-themed rooms, and we've seen them turn into painted accent pieces, personalized gifts for transplants and expats, and display pieces for local businesses and tourism shops. Made to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 8" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
