This is a plain square cutout — the most versatile geometry in the shop. Four clean sides, sharp corners, solid through and through. Folks reach for this shape when they want a blank slate: sign bases, paint practice panels, tiered tray accents, mosaic tile components, vinyl application substrates. We've also seen them used as classroom sorting tiles, photo props, coaster-style display pieces, and layering elements in mixed-media projects. The square's geometry works at nearly any scale — small ones disappear into garlands and scrapbook layouts; larger ones hold their own as standalone wall art or sign blanks. Made to order in our Minnesota shop, unfinished and ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
