This is an unfinished baltic birch spool of thread cutout — a clean sewing spool silhouette with flanged ends and a small looped thread tail. It works well as a craft base for sewing-themed projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for sewing room signs, quilting decor, and wreath accents. We've also seen them turn into tiered tray accents, door hanger components, gift tags for sewists, and painted props at craft fairs. The thread tail detail adds character at larger sizes and paints up nicely. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, or just leaving it natural. Made from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 3" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
