This is an unfinished baltic birch smiley face cutout — the classic circular face with oval eyes and a wide curved smile cut all the way through. It works as a standalone craft shape or as part of a larger project at almost any scale. Folks use these for wall art, door hangers, and painted signs. We've also seen them turn into party decorations, tiered tray accents, wreath focal pieces, and gift toppers. The cheerful face reads well painted yellow, left natural, or finished with stain and a clear coat. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.

My husband freaked out a bit. After I had opened this and showed him, I set them aside. About 10 minutes later he asks “Do you smell something burning?” And jumped up to investigate. I went to the the box sitting near me where I thought I had smelled a wiff of “campfire” I yelled to him right away it’s just the new wood I ordered and I said here smell this and he calmed down and said yes that’s the smell. I think it actually smells wonderful it smells like fall sitting out in a campfire without all the smoke in my eyes haha. Thank you for all this everything came out great no splinters or anything and good quality I’m having fun painting some of the stuff now. I will be ordering again. Bring on more smokeless campfire smell. LoL
