Description

This is an unfinished baltic birch shield cutout — a classic heraldic shape with a pointed base and notched top center, ready for paint, stain, or just leaving it natural. The solid surface gives you a clean canvas for almost any project. Folks use these for monogram signs, awards plaques, and wall art. We've also seen them turn into sports team banners, police and fire tribute pieces, medieval and fantasy themed decor, and layered door hangers where the shield works as the base. The solid shape holds detail well at almost any size — small shields work as gift tags, ornament blanks, and scrapbook embellishments; larger ones become statement wall pieces and interchangeable sign bases. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
