Octopus Swimming Side Profile ($1.36 – $29.31)

This is an unfinished baltic birch octopus cutout in a dynamic side-swimming pose — tentacles spread wide, tips curling in decorative scrolls. It works as a craft base for ocean and coastal projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for coastal wall art, beach-themed wreaths and door hangers, nautical room decor, and tiered tray displays. We've also seen them turn into summer party table accents, under-the-sea baby shower decorations, and painted pieces for craft fair displays. The tentacle detail is part of the character — lots of fine curls and interior cuts that reward careful painting or a stain-and-seal treatment. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, epoxy, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch.
