This is an unfinished baltic birch Michigan Lower Peninsula cutout — the mitten shape Michiganders have been tracing on their hands since grade school. It works as a craft base at almost any scale, from small ornament-sized pieces to large wall art. Folks use these for state-pride signs, Michigan-themed wreaths, and door hangers. We've also seen them turn into housewarming gifts for people moving to or from Michigan, travel memory keepsakes, nursery wall accents for Michigan families, and geography classroom displays. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or vinyl lettering. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch.
