This is an unfinished cutout of Drummond Island — the large island sitting in the northeastern corner of Lake Huron, part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's a solid silhouette tracing the island's distinctive coastline, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or leaving it natural. Folks use these for wall art in lakeside and cabin spaces, travel memory displays, and Michigan-pride home decor. We've also seen them turn into gift pieces for UP residents and Drummond Island regulars, sign accents for cottage decor, and keepsakes for people who've spent time on the island. The cut follows the actual shoreline profile — lots of fine edge work that gives the piece its character. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
