This is an unfinished baltic birch cutout of the Baja California Peninsula — that long, narrow strip of land reaching south from the US-Mexico border along the Pacific coast. The shape is instantly recognizable: jagged coastlines on both sides, tapering down to the tip at Cabo. Folks use these for travel-themed wall art, map displays, and geography decor. We've seen them turn into gifts for expats and snowbirds, accents for Baja road-trip memorabilia, state-pride displays for those with roots in Baja California Norte or Sur, and sign components for Mexico-themed spaces. They're also popular with fishing and outdoor communities that spend time on the peninsula or in the Sea of Cortez. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch — made to order and ready for your finish. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
