This is an unfinished baltic birch baboon cutout — a walking silhouette with fine fur-detail edges that give it character at larger sizes. It works as a standalone wall art piece or as part of a safari or wildlife-themed display. Folks use these for classroom nature displays, safari party table arrangements, and wildlife-themed room decor. We've also seen them turn into painted nursery wall art for jungle and safari rooms, tiered tray accents for themed displays, and gift-making projects for animal lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The edge detail on the fur and spine is part of the design's character — it paints up well and rewards a bit of care at the brush. Made to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, or leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch.
