This is an unfinished baltic birch cutout of the ASL hand sign for the letter M — the closed fist with the thumb tucked under, just as it's signed. It works as a standalone decorative piece or as part of a larger set spelling words or names in sign language. Folks use these for classroom alphabet displays, ASL learning posters, and sensory or visual aids for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. We've also seen them used for nursery decor spelling out a child's first initial, sign language awareness projects, and interchangeable sign setups where the whole alphabet rotates through. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, vinyl lettering, or leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
