Wind-Up Key ($0.28 – $32.83)

This is an unfinished baltic birch wind-up key cutout — the classic clockwork shape with the double-ring bow and stepped bit. It works on its own as a craft shape or combines into larger themed pieces. Folks use these for steampunk party decor, wedding favor tags, and music box or clockwork-themed signs. We've also seen them turn into costume accessories, gift tag accents, key-themed wall displays, and ornament components. The shape reads equally well as a toy key, a music box key, or a vintage skeleton key depending on how you finish it. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural.
