This is an unfinished baltic birch whale shark cutout, cut from a top-down perspective — that wide, rounded head and long tapering tail are unmistakable. It works as a craft base for ocean-themed and marine life projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for coastal wall art, beach-themed door hangers, and nautical sign accents. We've also seen them turn into painted room decor for ocean-themed spaces, wreath focal pieces, and tiered tray accents for beach houses. The shape is clean and solid — no interior cutouts — so it takes paint, stain, epoxy, or wood-burning well. Made to order in our Minnesota shop and ready for your finish.
