This is an unfinished baltic birch watermelon slice cutout — the silhouette of a half-round slice with a small bite taken out of the edge, just enough to make it unmistakably summer. It works as a craft base for seasonal projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for tiered tray accents, summer wreath components, and party table decor. We've also seen them turn into door hangers, gift tags for summer baskets, and painted wall art for kitchen or dining room displays. The bite detail gives it a little character without complicating the painting surface — plenty of room for a bold red-and-green paint job, stain, or just leaving it natural. Made to order in our Minnesota shop. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
