This is an unfinished baltic birch squirrel cutout — that big, textured tail is part of the character, cut right into the silhouette. It works as a standalone woodland accent or as a component in larger projects. Folks use these for fall wreath accents, autumn door hangers, woodland nursery wall art, and tiered tray displays. We've also seen them turn into interchangeable porch sign pieces for the harvest season, gift tags, and painted wall art for cabin or lodge decor. Each one is cut to order in our Minnesota shop and ships ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Lots of fine detail on the tail edge — the small fur points and jagged texture are part of the design, and they show best at larger sizes where the detail has room to breathe. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
