This is an unfinished baltic birch Spartan helmet cutout — the classic warrior profile with the tall horsehair crest and distinctive cheek and nose guards. It works as a craft base for historical, military, and themed projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for wall art in gaming rooms and man caves, as props for Greek history classroom displays, and as accents for themed party decor. We've also seen them turn into costume accessories, painted sign embellishments, and pieces in ancient history or mythology collections. The interior crest lines are cut through, adding visual character right out of the box. Made to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
