Description

This is an unfinished baltic birch shield cutout — the classic flat-top heater shield silhouette with curved sides and a pointed base. It works as a craft base across a wide range of projects. Folks use these for heraldic wall art, family crest displays, medieval and renaissance fair decor, and themed party signs. We've also seen them turn into sports plaques, award displays, door hangers, porch signs, and painted name plaques. The solid surface is ready for paint, wood-burning, vinyl lettering, or stain — there's a lot of room to work with here. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
