Description

This is an unfinished baltic birch turtle cutout — a solid silhouette in a rounded, friendly style that works at almost any scale. The simplified form makes it a versatile craft base: easy to paint cleanly, easy to finish with stain or epoxy, easy to dress up with a hanging hole and some twine. Folks use these for nursery wall art, baby shower table arrangements, and woodland-themed room accents. We've also seen them turn into ornaments, wreath accents, tiered tray pieces, and gift toppers for animal lovers. The rounded shell and stub legs hold detail at smaller sizes without the fine-feature fragility you get with more complex silhouettes. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
