This is an unfinished baltic birch cutout of the ASL hand sign for number 1, ready for paint, stain, or just leaving it natural. The design includes engraved finger detail that adds dimension and clarity to the gesture. It works as an educational tool for ASL learning, a cultural affinity piece for the deaf community, or decorative classroom wall art. Folks use these for alphabet and number learning boards, ASL teaching displays, and inclusive classroom decor. We've also seen them turn into awareness wall hangings, nursery educational pieces, and cultural celebration decorations. Some customers string multiples together for counting displays or use them as photo props for deaf awareness events. Cut in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
