Spotted Butterfly ($1.36 – $32.83)

This is an unfinished baltic birch butterfly cutout with oval spot cutouts worked into all four wings — the spots are part of the design, not add-ons. It works as a paint-ready craft base for projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for wreath accents, spring door hangers, and wall art. We've also seen them show up in nursery decor, baby shower table arrangements, and Easter and Mother's Day craft projects. The spotted wing pattern gives painters and finishers a lot to work with — the voids become design elements when you layer colors or let the background show through. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch.
