This is an unfinished baltic birch South Dakota state silhouette, cut clean and ready to finish however you like — paint, stain, wood-burning, or vinyl lettering. The shape captures the state's outline faithfully, including the jagged Missouri River edge along the southeast corner that makes it instantly recognizable.
Folks use these for wall art, welcome signs, and home decor that shows where they're from. We've also seen them turn into gifts for transplants and expats, wedding table accents for couples with South Dakota roots, tiered tray pieces during patriotic holidays, and garland elements for Fourth of July displays. They work as classroom geography pieces and as sign blanks for vinyl application.
Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
