This is an unfinished baltic birch Saluki dog cutout — the rear-view silhouette of one of the oldest sighthound breeds, with that distinctive long-feathered ear and elegant haunch profile. It works as a standalone painted accent or as part of a larger dog-breed themed display. Folks use these for dog-lover gifts, painted home accents, and pet memorial keepsakes. We've also seen them turn into wreath accents, tiered tray pieces, and craft fair booth display items for dog-themed sellers. The two-piece design — head and body as separate cuts — opens up options for layering or mixed-media assembly. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch, ready for paint, stain, or just leaving it natural.
