This is an unfinished baltic birch sailfish cutout — that distinctive tall dorsal fin and long bill cut cleanly in 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. It works as a craft base for any project built around coastal, nautical, or sport fishing themes. Folks use these for wall art in fishing rooms and lake houses, painted signs for beach homes, and sport fishing trophy displays. We've seen them show up on wreaths as focal pieces, in tiered tray arrangements with other coastal shapes, and as painted gifts for the angler who has everything. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop and ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or leaving it natural.
