This is a seashell-shaped baltic birch cutout with layered curved ridges cut into the surface — the tiered slit detail gives it the look of a scallop or clam shell in profile. It works well as a craft base for coastal and beach-themed projects of most scales. Folks use these for wreath accents, door hangers, and beach-themed sign arrangements. We've also seen them turn into tiered tray decor, summer garland pieces, and painted coastal wall art. The curved slit cuts are detailed work — fifteen separate interior cuts that give the shell its ridged character. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch, ready for paint, stain, epoxy, or leaving it natural. Available 4" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
