This is an unfinished baltic birch banner plaque — a wide, low-profile shape with decorative notched ends that give it the look of a classic signboard or scroll. The horizontal format makes it a natural choice for lettered signs, name displays, and any project where text needs a clean, framed surface to land on. Folks use these for porch signs, welcome signs, and door-hanger bases. We've also seen them turn into menu boards at weddings, name plaques above nursery shelves, craft fair booth signs, and painted bar carts or kitchen displays. The ornate end treatment adds character without complicating the painting or vinyl workflow — the surface is flat, the edges are clean, and the shape works at almost any scale.
