This is an unfinished baltic birch skeleton key cutout with a fleur-de-lis bow — the kind of key that reads as antique, Victorian, or old-world elegant depending on how you finish it. The long shaft and simple bit make the key silhouette immediately recognizable; the ornate bow gives it character that a plain key blank doesn't have.
Folks use these for wedding decor — table accents, escort card displays, and welcome sign embellishments where a vintage key fits the theme. We've also seen them painted as door hangers, layered into wreath designs, used as gift-wrapping accents, and incorporated into mixed-media sign projects. The fleur-de-lis head makes it a natural fit for New Orleans-themed events, Mardi Gras decor, and French-inspired party tables.
Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch, ready for paint, stain, or leaving it natural. Available 2" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
