This is an unfinished baltic birch Dala horse cutout — the classic Swedish folk art silhouette, ready for paint, stain, wood-burning, or just leaving it natural. The shape is clean and solid, with that familiar rounded body and arched neck that makes the Dala horse such a recognizable craft form. Folks use these for Scandinavian-themed holiday decor, Christmas ornaments, and wreath accents. We've also seen them turn into nursery wall art, gift tags, tiered tray decor, and hand-painted folk art pieces finished in traditional red and floral motifs. Makes a solid door hanger blank at larger sizes, too. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
