Description

This is an unfinished baltic birch mermaid tail cutout — a clean silhouette of the classic two-lobed tail fin, ready for paint, stain, or leaving it natural. It works as a standalone craft shape at almost any scale. Folks use these for beach and coastal decor, mermaid-themed party displays, and wreath accents. We've seen them turn into door hangers, tiered tray pieces, nursery wall art, summer garlands, and painted ornaments strung together for a seasonal display. The shape is solid with no interior cutouts, which makes it easy to finish by hand. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 1" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.
