This is an unfinished baltic birch California quail cutout — that signature curved topknot makes it immediately recognizable. It works as a wildlife craft shape for decor, gifting, and themed projects of almost any scale. Folks use these for fall wreath accents, rustic wall art, and hunting-camp door hangers. We've also seen them turn into painted signs for cabin or lodge settings, tiered tray accents for a nature-themed kitchen, and painted gifts for the quail hunter or birdwatcher in someone's life. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop and ready for paint, stain, or just leaving it natural. Cut from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch.
