This is an unfinished baltic birch Alaska state silhouette — the full outline, including the Aleutian Island chain and the Panhandle, cut clean as a single solid piece. It works as a craft base for almost anything Alaska-themed. Folks use these for state pride wall art, cabin and lodge decor, and welcome signs. We've also seen them turn into Alaska cruise keepsakes, gift-shop-style painted pieces, and geography classroom displays. They show up in wreath accents, interchangeable porch signs, tiered tray arrangements, and patriotic or military-themed crafting projects. Cut to order in our Minnesota shop from 1/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. Available 4" and up — or customize sizes or pick from available modifications in our Concept Studio. Most simple modifications are at no additional cost.

Love how the state of Alaska cutout looks but was very thin on the panhandle even when 1/4″ thick so it’s very breakable. Will be ordering more of different cutouts though.

Alaska is a beautiful state with awesome breweries! The wooden outline I purchased was the base for my outline of our picture. When the design first came to me the south east section of the state was broken off. This shop sent me a new one without any issues. Very detailed outline!

Have ordered from this company a few times now and they’re usually great – but unfortunately this time I received the product and one of the legs was already broken off. The side piece of this wooden shape is already fragile, so I always handle with care, but to open the box and see one already broken that I now have to try and repair was disappointing.
